A big congratulations is in order for everyone at the Barrowford branch who managed to exceed a client’s expectations with the rapid sale of a property at auction.
On the 31st of October Petty Real staff were instructed to list a terraced house in the Barrowford area for sale with the national auction house “i am sold”. The initial asking price was set at £95,000 with a £5000 reservation fee. The property proved an instant hit generating a great deal of interest, in part because of cleverly chosen asking price and the appealing location of the property.
To the delight of the client, the house had 24 viewings in just over 3 weeks. On the 26th of November, a secure sale was agreed at live auction, with the final sale price of £132,000 eclipsing the seller’s initial asking price by £37,000!
