A home from home for Mandy!
Here at Petty’s we’re all celebrating as our admin manager Mandy has now worked with us for over two decades!
Mandy started working for us 25 years ago at our offices in Nelson as an office junior, working her way through the ranks to where she is today, a great admin manager! We spoke with Mandy and she said; “I know it sounds like a cliché but Petty’s really does feel like a second home and family to me and I have really enjoyed working my way up the ladder and carving out a career!”
Throughout her time with us, Mandy has seen some dramatic changes take place within the property buying and selling industry from the community charge to council tax banding change and more recently energy performance certificates becoming part of legislation.
She continued; “It is very strange looking back on how we used to do things, using paper diaries and typewriters! I am amazed at the tools that we now have at our fingertips!
“I am very proud to be a part of Petty’s which has stayed strong through tough times like the collapse of the housing market and has continually offered such a fantastic service to its customers. I may even reach a 50 year anniversary here, so watch this space!”
Mandy says she loves the fact that no two days are the same here and has genuinely enjoyed all the roles that she has had to get her to where she is today.
Our director Ian said; “Mandy is an asset and a hardworking member of the team and we all want to thank her for her continued support and commitment to the business.”
