Our fundraising efforts for this year’s Corporate Challenge in aid of Pendleside hospice are well under way and progressing nicely. Since our last newsletter Reece has successfully completed the Burnley 10k raising over £200 along the way, and Ian Bythell has again signed up for this year’s Great North Run, this time with daughter Olivia.
Ian said “As well as designing and running her own sportswear brand Caos-K, Liv is a personal trainer and she’s been encouraging me with my fitness this year which has helped enormously. To do the Great North Run with one of my daughters will be such a great experience I’m really looking forward to it. Although I’m not sure I’ll be keeping up with her all the way round!”
Glen Stock and the guys from Unique Clean are helping out again this year too. Unique Clean as well as offering commercial and domestic cleaning services also hire top of the range camper vans through Unique Camper Ltd.
Glen said “We were happy to help Ian last year when he couldn’t find accommodation before the race and it worked really well for him, so when he approached me again this year I was more than happy to say yes. I was just pleased he wasn’t asking me to run it with him!”
If you’d like to donate to Ian and Olivia’s efforts you can do so here at their JustGiving page or pop into one of our branches.
