Our Good Deed for December!
This Christmas at Petty we wanted to do something really special that would involve all our staff and the local community and get us all in the festive spirit. We decided that a video of Petty Estate Agents version of the 12 Days of Christmas would be perfect!
We enlisted the help of CMS Live who agreed to produce the video but the next step was finding a great choir who could sing for us!
Where were we going to find a group of fantastic vocalists who would want to help by singing on the video though? Then we had a brainwave! Who better than the school choir at Wheatley Lane Primary School!
We all enjoyed it so much that when Wheatley Lane Primary School decided to create their own take on the 12 Days of Christmas we couldn’t wait to be involved!
Deedcember was created!
Each day in December the pupils are encouraged to do a good deed such as ringing grandparents, doing the dishes and lots of other good deeds. The students of year six will then take to twitter to report on their good deeds for the day.
Now it seems that Deedcember is going viral and the good deeds are spreading! Not only that but it has caught the eye of local media and as well as BBC Radio Lancashire coming in to record the children, North West Tonight have been in touch!
