Retirement Dawns For Liz Daw!
A highly regarded member of the Petty team has hung up her keys for the last time as Liz Daw takes her well-earned retirement.
Liz, who has been with the company for the past six years, has certainly not stood still since she joined the busy team and with time spent across the various departments, she quickly became part of the Petty fixtures and fittings!
Her breadth of knowledge of all things property related has increased year on year as she enjoyed time in residential sales, residential lettings and for the past few years, in the busy commercial department.
Liz said: “Working at Petty’s has been one of the most enjoyable times in my life. I genuinely have loved every minute of it working alongside some amazing people and being given the opportunities to spread my wings and help people in whatever role I was given. I have never had a day off sick and that has to be testament to how much I loved turning up for work every day! I shall certainly miss the team and of course, the social life but I am also very much looking forward to the next chapter in my life.”
On behalf of all the departments, Director Brent Forbes said: “Liz has been a valuable asset to the team and has certainly built some strong relationships with her peers and clients as she always made a conscious effort to take the time to engage and talk to them. She was a very enthusiastic member of our team who made copious notes and regularly went beyond the call of duty. She will inevitably be missed but we wish her a very enjoyable retirement which she kick started with a trip to Mexico!”
Liz, who was presented with a bunch of flowers and retirement gifts is now looking forward to spending more time with her family and in particular her grandchildren. She is also keen to spend more time on the hobbies she enjoys such as arts, sewing, travelling and with her two pet dogs, Hector and Bertie.
