We’re celebrating the 3 year anniversary of the opening of our Barnoldswick branch.
Since opening in January 2015 Jo Applegate, manager at the Barnoldswick office said. “We’ve really been made to feel welcome by everyone, it’s been a fantastic three years. Barnoldswick is a unique town with a great sense of community.
“We’ve got involved where we can and have sponsored the charity Santa Run which raises thousands of pounds every year for Bosom Friends, a local cancer support charity, as well as run competitions with local schools which has seen our windows filled with pictures of houses that the children have drawn rather the normal photographs, it’s been great fun”
The Barnoldswick branch has also proved to be a economic success with over 200 houses sold or let in the 3 year period, amounting to just over £28 million pounds.
Jo added “This part of Lancashire has a lot to offer and is a very desirable place to live which is borne out by the number of sales and level of demand we have seen in the area.”
Ian Bythell a Director at Petty’s said: “Petty celebrate 90years this year, we’re a well established company but are always looking to improve and expand where we can and Barnoldswick has been a great move for us. Demand in the area meant we felt we really needed a presence in this part of Pennine Lancashire and it has proved to be very successful for us. Let’s hope we’re celebrating 90 years of the Barnoldswick branch in 2105!”
