    Sign up with your details to let us know that you’re interested in finding a place to rent. We’ll be in touch shortly to get the ball rolling.

  2. Step 2

    Discuss your requirements

    Let us know what you’re looking for and we’ll see what properties we have to suit you. If you’re fairly flexible, great!

  3. Step 3

    Time to get viewing

    Book viewings at properties that catch your eye and choose time slots that suit your schedule, alternatively look at our 360 virtual tours online. Do consider however that some properties already have tenants in them, so we’ll need to work around their schedule too. We’ll arrange for you to visit each property and make sure you get all the information you need.

  4. Step 4

    Applying & agreeing the let

    Once you find ‘the one’, there’ll be an application form to fill in and reference checks to complete. We’ll make the entire process as quick and easy as possible, at every stage.

  5. Step 5

    Tenancy progression

    We’ll follow up on your references, chase anyone that needs chasing and liaise with the landlord on your behalf. Our input will make your move a whole lot less stressful.

  6. Step 6

    Key collection & move in day

    Pack your bags and pick up your keys! We’ll run you through some final paperwork to make sure we’re all on the same page.  Once everything is sorted, you’ll leave our office with your keys!

  • What if I do not have a previous landlord reference can I still rent a property?

    If you don’t have a previous landlord reference, you can still rent a property with Petty Real but you may require a guarantor. A guarantor is someone (usually a family
    member) who agrees to cover the rent if you’re unable to pay. They’ll need to undergo reference checks and demonstrate they can meet the financial requirement.

  • How do I book a viewing for a rental property?

    With Petty Real, viewing your potential future rental property is easy. To request a viewing for a rental property, simply fill out our rental registration form via our website. You can find this form by clicking the yellow button located at the top right of our homepage. Once completed, a member of our team will contact you to schedule a viewing. Please note, you will need to submit a separate form for each property you’d like to view.   • Can I still rent a property if I have pets?

    Yes, you can still rent a property even if you have pets. We encourage you to apply for the property and arrange a viewing, as it’s worth exploring your options. Recent legislation states that landlords cannot automatically discriminate against tenants with pets. However, some landlords may prefer to not have pets in their property. It’s always best to discuss your situation with us and contact our team so we can find the right property for you and your furry friend.
